TDK Companies Break Ground on Vintage Pleasant Grove

Mar 24, 2025

MT. JULIET – TDK Companies and Imagine1 Company have broken ground on Vintage Pleasant Grove, a $82 million upscale mixed-use community featuring 265 homes, 14 office suites, and a Red Bicycle Coffee Shop. The property is located just north of Interstate 40 between the Mt. Juliet Road exit and the new exit at Central Pike, which is currently under design by the Tennessee Department of Transportation, TDK Companies Principal Kent Ayer announced today.

Vintage Pleasant Grove is the third joint venture between the two companies. Their first project, Vintage Station North, began leasing in 2020 and is a unique multifamily development for the Nashville market because it is a transit-oriented development located at the Music City Star Mt. Juliet station. Their second project, Vintage Edge, located on Nolensville Road just south of Old Hickory Boulevard on the edge of Nashville, Brentwood, and Nolensville opened in 2023. Both projects feature an upscale, pedestrian friendly, mixed-use community including a mix of commercial, residential, and office space.

“Vintage Pleasant Grove connects to the new Village at Pleasant Grove which will feature upscale retail shopping and restaurant options. Mixed-use developments have been incredibly successful in all areas of the country, and this will provide our residents with an integrated walkable experience. With the shifting attitudes toward work with many employees able to work remotely to varying degrees, we are excited about providing full-time or part-time office space that can cater to entrepreneurs. By including both residential and office space close to restaurant and shopping options, we are creating a unique mixed-use community. We believe this is the future of multifamily developments,” Ayer said.

“Imagine1 Company is excited to continue our partnership with TDK and elevate the housing options in Mt. Juliet. Vintage Pleasant Grove is a convenient location for people who want access to Nashville yet is still in the heart of Mt. Juliet. As soon as Red Bicycle Coffee opened a location in Vintage Station North, it became a “go-to” place in that neighborhood and we are excited to have them open a location at our newest project. We anticipate they will enjoy that same success at Vintage Pleasant Grove,” said Matt Gardner, partner in Imagine1 Company.

Vintage Pleasant Grove will offer residents an abundance of onsite luxury amenities, including a resort-style pool area featuring grills and cabanas; secure 24-hour package and cold food storage receiving rooms; a pet pavilion and dog park with seating and indoor pet washing station; and an indoor fitness center, showcasing the latest in Precor equipment and a cardio/ yoga room.

Every unit will provide first-class amenities including 10-foot ceilings on the first floor and 9-foot ceils throughout the rest of the residences, quartz countertops accenting the kitchen and baths, stainless steel appliances including wine refrigerators in select units, a full-size washer and dryer, hardwood inspired flooring, and spacious walk-in closets. The construction loan has been obtained through Old National Bank. Pre-leasing will begin in the summer of 2026.

TDK Companies is a privately held three-generation development and construction company with headquarters in Murfreesboro. Imagine1 Company is a development company based in Nashville that prioritizes enhancing livability.
