Ashley Woods serves as a Staff Accountant at TDK Companies, where she supports the financial operations of TDK’s construction division. In her role, Ashley works closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to coordinate billing and payments, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with the financial administration of TDK’s multifamily construction projects.
Ashley is involved in a variety of construction accounting functions, including processing invoices and payments, managing subcontractor commitments, reconciling accounts, assisting with project reporting, and helping maintain compliance requirements. She also works closely with the accounting and construction teams to ensure financial information is accurate, organized, and properly documented.
Before joining TDK in January 2025, Ashley spent nearly a decade working as a healthcare professional. She began transitioning into accounting in 2023, gaining experience in accounts receivable before moving into construction accounting. Her career change allowed her to build on her strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities while developing expertise in construction accounting.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Southern Indiana. She has called Henderson, Kentucky, home for more than 10 years. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters and supporting them in their many activities.
