Heather serves as a Development Manager at TDK Companies, where she supports the execution of the Development division’s initiatives by leading the predevelopment framework for the company’s multifamily apartment projects. Since joining TDK in 2014, Heather has played a key role in transforming early-stage concepts into entitled, construction-ready developments by coordinating zoning, bonding, and municipal requirements and working closely with internal teams and development partners to establish and manage project budgets.
With a strong background in contract administration and regulatory coordination, Heather is known for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to solve complex development challenges. She specializes in navigating multifaceted municipal processes, proactively identifying issues, and maintaining disciplined oversight of development budgets, schedules, and contractual obligations. Her responsibilities include land contract management, negotiation of telecommunications agreements, and the preparation and monitoring of development budgets for ownership across all projects prior to construction.
Prior to joining TDK, Heather worked for a law firm where she reviewed and drafted contract documents—experience that reinforced the importance of precision, foresight, and risk mitigation. This legal foundation sharpened her analytical approach and strengthened her negotiation skills, enabling her to anticipate challenges and develop practical solutions. She brings this same level of accuracy to her role at TDK, supporting projects with consistency, accountability, and a solutions-driven mindset throughout the preconstruction phase.
Heather holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. She remains actively involved in her community through World Outreach Church, serving with the college ministry and leading a small group.
