Sam Farmer is a Market Analysis & Development Associate at TDK Companies, where he serves as a central hub for market intelligence across the company’s target regions. In this role, Sam evaluates markets and submarkets to identify growth trends, demand drivers, and competitive positioning—tracking key metrics including rent growth, absorption, occupancy, supply pipeline, concessions, and demographic shifts. He works closely with the Acquisitions, Development, and Senior Leadership teams to ensure data-driven insights inform site selection, investment decisions, and project execution.
Sam builds and maintains standardized reporting and market dashboards, synthesizing data from sources including CoStar, brokers, municipal reports, and internal tracking systems. He monitors comparable properties, new deliveries, and lease-up performance across targeted regions, flagging emerging risks and opportunities to support strategic decision-making. His work also extends into development support, ensuring market data is reflected in project assumptions and helping Development Managers stay aligned with current conditions as projects take shape.
Sam earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a collateral in Real Estate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His background in data visualization, reporting, and operational support provides a strong foundation for the analytical infrastructure he’s building at TDK.
